About Me
I practice contemporary, relational psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
That’s a fancy way of saying our work will primarily focus on looking at your relationships and our relationship, your past, your patterns, your desires and conflicts, and your dreams. We will do this with curiosity, humility and great care. Ultimately, just as we are formed within relationships as children, it is within relationship that we can heal and grow.
This work takes time, so I see patients long term, often more than once a week. This allows us to effect long term change.
I hold a master’s degree in clinical social work from the University of Chicago Crown Family School of Social Work and have over 10 years of social work experience working with individuals, families, and communities. In 2025, I completed a two year training program in psychoanalytic psychotherapy with the Chicago Center for Psychoanalysis, where I participate in ongoing membership and training. I have also received training in somatic and internal family systems approaches.
